Colorful Hacienda Del Sol Wedding

We are excited to share this V I B R A N T wedding with you that took place at the gorgeous Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort. Brittany and Seth selected the perfect desert setting for their out of town friends and family, after recently moving to the desert themselves. This adorable and active couple truly infused the beauty of their “new home” into each detail of their special day - from the mixture of hot pinks in the flowers to the mini cactus candles given to guests as favors, this desert wedding was H-O-T!!

Vendor Team:

Photographer - Amanda Rockafellow

Venue and Cake - Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort

Florals - Alexis Grace Florals

DJ - Raza Entertainment

Hair and Makeup - I Do Hair and Makeup

Velvet Love seat - Love and Lace Rentals

Brittany and Seth choose a fun, springtime color pallet that was evident throughout their day by having the guys wear royal blue suits with floral print ties, the ladies in teal dresses with burgundy shoes, and the punchy shades of pink used by Alexis Grace Florals in the floral designs - bright and cheery just about sums up this perfect day and lovable couple!

Our hearts literally skipped a beat when we saw the incredible floral installation created as the Ceremony backdrop - we especially love the ombre effect of the hanging carnations!

The night continued on with a candlelit dinner under the stars in the inner courtyard, followed by memorable toasts, scrumptious cake and dancing the night away in the “Boom-Boom” room!! Thank you, Brittany and Seth, for allowing us to be a part of your BEST.DAY.EVER!

And they lived Happily Ever After!

2017 End of Year Recap

WOW!! What a whirlwind of a year 2017 has been! We seriously feel like we blinked an eye and and Spring turned into Winter before we knew it (and the weather seems to finally be cooperating with that notion!) We just wanted to take a quick moment to look back on some of the beautiful images of our lovely Brides and Grooms from this year, captured by some equally as lovely and amazing photographers. We were also blessed to be a part of many styled shoots throughout 2017, which we love, as it gives us an opportunity to run wild with our creativity, with little to no restraints. These are definitely some of our most favorite moments to look back on, as it is so inspiring to work with other creatives, and the end result is always more than we could have even hoped for! As for our clients, thank you for trusting us with the most important day of your lives and we hope that you found some "peace of mind" while working with us and were able to truly be present in those moments that matter so much. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Cheers to all the goodness that we know 2018 will bring <3

This ring box was made by the incredibly talented Ryan Blackmer of Blackmer Studios, using a photo reference of a tree in flagstaff, AZ where the Groom had carved their initials into years earlier- it is also the same spot where he propoused!  what  a sweet memento to have to remind them of their picture perfect wedding day.

On a cool, October day in Oracle, AZ, Abby and Tyler were surrounded by their sweet families and energized friends to celebrate something very special - the undeniable love between two people. Kristin of Ivory Orchid did a fabulous job capturing the special bond these families share as well as the stunning backdrop of El Rancho Robles, where the couple chose to exchange their vows and celebrate well on into the evening. We love the color palette Abby and her gorgeous Mother, Tricia, selected. The two worked very closely, alongside the Groom's Mother, Shelia, to ensure each and every detail of the day was carefully thought out and planned for. There were sachets of lavender for the guests to sprinkle on the happy couple as they were announce "Husband and Wife" and polka-dotted bottles of bubbly that served as the tables numbers, as well as the libation for the toasts. The night ended with an epic dance off in the Ranch's Speakeasy Room. Abby and Tyler, wishing you all the best in life and many days filled with love, laughter and sunsets <3

The bouquets by Atelier de LaFleur and the centerpieces and Ceremony decor created by Alexis Grace Florals were stunning and accompanied the breathtaking bridal party, done up by I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry, absolutely perfectly.

Desert Romance - Hacienda Del Sol Wedding

The Ring - a symbol of never ending love; it has no beginning and no end; the ring represents infinite, total and unbreakable love. This wedding was full of love, life and laughter. Carrie and Josh chose one of the most romantic venues in Tucson, AZ, Hacienda Del Sol - our hearts skipped a beat just from walking around the beautiful grounds of the resort and it's hard to miss how everywhere you turn, our gorgeous desert landscape is highlighted. The couple carried out the warm, desert feel throughout the wedding with vibrant florals designed perfectly by Posh Petals, and personalized mexican tile coasters as the favors.

The Bride wanted to infuse her day with some of the couples favorite things about Tucson, and that included using Tapatio bottles as the guests' escort cards.

There was an adorable sign, among others made by the Bride's Mom, telling guests to "Find their seat, HOT STUFF!" as they entered into the reception space.

The Container Store Private Preview Party

It's hard to believe it has already been 2 years since the most elaborate, and by far the largest, party I have ever planned took place! When Annette Hartman Catering asked me to come on board for simply the "tasting" that was held for this event, I was completely honored and to then find out that the representatives from The Container Store selected us, to say I was ecstatic at the least, is definitely an understatement! So happy to finally be sharing these awesome images captured by Martha Lochert Photography. So without further hesitation, please check out the Private Preview Party at Tucson Mall for Tucson's first The Container Store held on May 20, 2015!

_MLP7045.jpg

Prior to the event, our team was flown out to Houston, TX, to view one of The Container Stores in person and, throughout a rigorous but extremely fun 2 days, we selected and placed an order for all of the products that were needed for the event from serving pieces to the displays and trays to the vessels used for the actual florals. All products used are available for sale at any of The Container Store locations. It was such an awesome opportunity to get creative and use products in a different way then what they were originally created for!

The night of the event, the almost 2,000 guests enjoyed live entertainment complete with a dance floor in the middle of the store and roamed the aisles, which were filled with 5 different food stations and 2 bars.

Farmer's Market Station

This station featured fresh and fun nibbles ranging from BLT Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes to Cucumber Salads and Veggie Crudites. The bright yellow sunflowers and cabbage roses made for the perfect floral arrangements and gave the black and white office display items just the right pop of color.

Sonoran Station

Being that it just wouldn't feel like a true Tucson event without a little desert representation, we came up with a Sonoran station that was located in the laundry area of the store. Bright orange gerbera daisies and peppers served as just the right amount of pop against the awesome, gray and rustic display pieces. Food featured at this station included Fiesta Chicken Bites, Tri Tip Tostadas and, of course, Mini Sonoran Hot Dogs!

Americana Station

Representing the Red, White and Blue through one of my favorite product lines carried at The Container Store, Poppin, this display was filled with iconic favorites such as Pastrami Bites, Grilled Cheese and Short Ribs - YUM! We also loved the red and white chevron paper sacks we placed the grilled cheeses in - super cute!

Asian Station

This station featured Grain Noodle Salad displayed in adorable to-go containers, Beef and Veggie Spring Rolls, and Mini Chicken Teriyaki Croquets. We loved the dramatic florals that were designed for this station, using ice buckets and umbrella stand holders, in place of vases!

Something Sweet Station

We obviously saved the best for last, as the Sweets Station was comprised of Mini Chocolate Mousse Torts, Fruit Tarts, Macarons, Brownie Bites and Cream Puffs that were all neatly lined up in rows on top of colorful office products. This station was by far hit the hardest by guests, and it is easy to see why!

It was such an honor to be a part of this once-in-a-lifetime event, well that is, until the next one nearby opens (we hope!) ;) A huge shout out to the awesome team that came together to make this event happen! We love you all!

A Timeless Love - Wedding at The Flying V at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

Cara and Howard's Wedding at the Flying V Restaurant located on the breathtaking property of Loews Ventana Canyon Resort was filled with sweet memories, warm Arizona sunshine and lots of laughter. Cara and Howard decided to finally "make it official" and knew that Tucson, AZ, where their parents loved, would provide the most perfect backdrop for an early Spring wedding - and they were right! About one week out from the wedding, the weather grew warmer and caused everything to begin to bloom, including some amazing Bougainvillea. Please enjoy these swoon worthy images captured by the lovely and talented Torey Salyer of Torey Photo.

Friedman-222.jpg

Patty Hunter of Sauliz Floral Design listened to our Bride Cara's floral desires and truly made a lasting impression with these gorgeous arrangements. You cannot tell, but since the wedding day was predicted to be super warm, Patty went above and beyond to ensure the florals would withstand the heat, by using faux flowers on the Chuppah, not that you could tell!

The beautiful Ceremony ended with the Jewish tradition of the Groom, and the Bride, breaking the glass! Rabbi was so kind to make Bride Cara's dream of also breaking a glass in celebration of their union come true!

A huge shout out to Kim McFate of Loews Ventana Canyon and my associate event planner, Veronica Saiz, for taking such good care of these special clients. I was running a rehearsal for a wedding that was taking place the following day, but still managed to stop by and check out the reception, as I knew this would be a party I wouldn't want to miss! Cara and Howard got the party started with the George Howard Band, who kept on playing for the newlyweds and their guests, well on into the night. Cara and Howard, it was such a pleasure working with you and we are honored that you trusted us to execute your Special Day, which had been a long time in the making. Your carefree and quirky love for each other is truly something to admire. We are so happy for this next chapter in your lives and we wish you many, many more years of happiness and love!

Loved working with this fun loving couple! And thanks to Torey for such an awesome shot :)

P.S. It happened to be St. Patrick's Day and this Irish girl felt pretty "lucky" to be a part of this gorgeous Wedding!

A True Life Fairytale Wedding - Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

True Love's First Kiss

True Love's First Kiss

Anna and Ryan choose the breathtaking Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for their special and memorable wedding celebration. The sheer sizes of the lovely "Bride Tribe" and studly "Groom's Crew" showed how important Anna and Ryan's family and friends are to them. This day was full of love, laughter and light, stunningly captured by Laura K Moore Photography. Grab some coffee, or a glass of wine (depending on the time of day) and get ready to swoon over their seriously gorgeous gallery of photos.

Anna wore a bracelet that belonged to her sweet Grandmother and the following series brought tears to my eyes, as you can truly feel the special connection between the two of them.

The florals for the personal flowers, as well as the centerpieces, were soft and romantic, carrying with the theme of the day, in varying shades of peach and blush created by Grace of Good Sunflower.

The Ceremony took place on the upper terrace, under the shade of trees, and the temperature was just right as the Bride and Groom said their vows, officiated by Wendy the Officiant, and sealed their love with a kiss!

The guests headed down to the Dinner Reception on the Kiva Patio, as their path was lit by luminaries. The couple then entered to sparklers, held by their loved ones, and shared their first dance as Husband and Wife.

After dinner, guests were invited into the Ballroom for dancing, a photo booth and one of my local favorite's, Uncle Bob's popcorn! The beautiful Bride surprised her Groom with a Groom's cake in the shape of a Rubiks Cube, as he can solve it in a crazy fast amount of time (I'm pretty sure he can solve it within in seconds!!) Anna and Ryan, thank you for having us be a part of your Special Day and we wish you all the best in life, as we know no matter what, you will tackle it all together <3
