Beer Garden Themed Wedding at The Franklin House

The first time I met Brandi and Chris on the porch of the historic and gorgeous Franklin House in Downtown Tucson, AZ, I knew their wedding was going to be sooo much fun to plan! The couple themselves are always smiling and happy and super fun to be around, so I knew that would be reflected throughout their Big Day.

Not to mention their photographer, Scott Rice, is known for "chasing the light" and let me tell you, he did not disappoint. The Bride, Brandi, made sure to incorporate some very meaningful touches into their day, such as tying the Bollo tie that belonged to her Grandfather around her bouquet and placing a pair of his cowboy boots at the reception as a small reminder that he was watching over her on this joyous occasion.

The Bride and her ladies got ready with the stellar glam team of I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry at the gorgeous Westward Look Wyndham Resort and Spa, and check out Brandi's Lady Gaga pose, love her train and veil! Brandi had the girls in a beautiful cranberry color, which complemented the bright orange and sage green in the florals perfectly. A close friend of the Bride's made the living cactus gardens, which were then given to important people in the couple's lives at the end of the  night.

The decor was filled with small nods to the couple and their Southwestern home by using a painted prickly pear cactus on canvas as the guestbook and cactus garden centerpieces, created by a friend of the Bride, which were then given to guests to take home at the end of the reception. The signs were made by a local artist and the chalk sign for the bar was made by the Groom's Sister.

The night continued on with an awesome dance party followed by a Sonoran inspired dessert buffet and for some, it didn't end there - the new Mr. and Mrs. and some of their closest friends headed to the after party at one of their favorite local, late-night hangouts. Brandi and Chris, you were truly a dream to work with and we wish you all the happiness in the world!
